Zachary J. Lorbeck, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist with the Springfield Clinic Rehabilitation Services team. Zachary earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also completed a sports physical therapy residency at Gunderson Health in Onalaska, Wis. Zachary looks forward to serving the central Illinois region for all rehabilitation needs.

As a former Division One decathlete, Zachary credits his desire to help others to his own prior injuries as an athlete and wanting to help other athletes get back to performing at their highest level. “Treating athletes brings together a blend of performance training and rehabilitation that I have grown to love,” he says. Zachary chose Springfield Clinic because of the connection between the organization and their community of local high schools. He hopes to be involved on the athletic training staff and help perform sideline coverage of high school sporting events and recreational activities. In his free time, Zachary likes to deer hunt, fish, hike, exercise and enjoys playing with his golden retriever.
