James Jersild, APRN, CNP, sees Orthopedics patients at our Springfield Clinic 1st - 800 Building. He collaborates with Dr. Jianjun Ma.

James earned both his Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from St. John's College of Nursing in Springfield, Ill. He served in nursing positions throughout the country before returning to Springfield to join Springfield Clinic.

James' passion for making an impact on people's lives is what first drew him to a career in health care. Starting as an EMT, he quickly realized he wanted to contribute more directly to patient care. "I decided to further my career and earn my nursing and nurse practitioner certifications after seeing how much more hands-on I could be," he shares.

James chose Springfield Clinic because of the exceptional care and dedication provided to the communities we serve. "The passion to provide quality patient care is evident through every department and specialty at Springfield Clinic," he says.
