Quinn Murray, MD, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Trauma Surgery Department and sees patients at HSHS St. John's Hospital.

Dr. Murray earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. He completed his general surgery residency at Mount Sinai St. Luke's/Roosevelt in New York, N.Y. He also completed a fellowship in critical care surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pa.

Dr. Murray's passion for medicine stems from a deep love of science, which naturally led him to general surgery. "From the beginning, I knew I wanted to pursue a procedural specialty," he says. "I need to be doing some type of work with my hands, and general surgery was a great branch point for that.”

Dr. Murray is committed to providing exceptional patient care. “Improving outcomes and minimizing complications for my patients is my biggest priority and passion," he says. "I strive to stay as up-to-date on recent evidence as possible to keep my practice current.”

In his free time, Dr. Murray enjoys bike rides, bird watching and playing guitar.
