Megan Tuetken, APRN, DNP, CNP, provides care with Springfield Clinic Family Medicine and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Hillsboro West. She collaborates with Dr. Benjamin Cady.

Megan earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Millikin University in Decatur. She has nearly twenty years of nursing experience serving as both a registered nurse and nurse practitioner in the Springfield area since 2005.

"I have always wanted to be a nurse," says Megan. “My mom still has a piece of my artwork from kindergarten that states 'when I grow up, I want to be a nurse.' When I was little and my mom and I would go shopping, I loved to look at the white nursing shoes in the window of the uniform store at the mall.”

"I am most passionate about doing my best to treat every one of my patients and family members with respect and kindness," says Megan. "Whether it be the injured or sick patient or their family member, I will always strive to be the friendly face patients and families come to trust with their care."

In her free time, Megan enjoys attending her boys' sporting events, traveling, running and cycling. She also serves as a member of her church's Children Discipleship Committee and the director of their Vacation Bible School program.
