Jennifer Maneja, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. She also serves as assistant medical director of Clay County Health Department Home Care and Hospice.
Jennifer sees patients who are 18 years old and older. Her areas of interest include management of diabetes, hypertension, dementia, preventive medicine and end-of-life care. With her training in geriatric medicine, Jennifer also specializes in the management of elderly patients with complex health issues. She works with community resources and specialists to keep patients as independent as possible.
Jennifer has received various recognitions including Rural Physician of Excellence award by Illinois Rural Health Association and Asian-American Public Health Champion by Illinois Department of Public Health.
As a physician, her biggest reward is having the opportunity to positively impact other people's lives.
During her free time, Jennifer enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and son, particularly fishing, kayaking, ATV riding and planting flowers.
