Deana Stefko, APRN, CNP, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Center for Women's Health team and collaborates with Dr. Nora MacZura specializing in gynecological oncology at the Springfield Clinic 1st - 900 Building.

Deana earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. She has nearly 10 years of experience as a nurse practitioner. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, she most recently served as a nurse practitioner in Taylorville.

"I've always wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl," says Deana. "I grew up watching my mom be a nurse and the high-quality care she provided inspired my own interest in health care." 

Since relocating to the Springfield area four years ago, she is excited to provide gynecological oncology care to patients throughout central Illinois. She has also served in the Air Force Reserves for the last 18 years as a nurse.

"I always enjoy helping others and the rewards of creating long lasting relationships with patients and to make a positive impact on their lives," says Deana. "I also love learning and being able to provide new advancements in therapies and treatments for my patients."

In her free time, Deana enjoys traveling, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
