Darci King, APRN, CNP, provides care with our Springfield Clinic Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn. She has more than nine years of nursing experience. She most recently served as a registered nurse for the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

"My health care journey started with my great aunt's struggle with emphysema," says Darci. "I got to know her home health care nurse and loved how she became a part of our family. She was selfless and compassionate, and I strive to provide that type of care to my patients."

In her free time, Darci enjoys fishing, camping and gardening with her two daughters.
