Clark Anderson, PA-C, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Gastroenterology and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Peoria. He collaborates with both Dr. Dmitry Shuster and Dr. Steven Tsoraides.

Clark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Southern Illinois University (SIU) in Carbondale. He has more than 40 years of experience in the health care field, including more than 20 years serving as a medical specialist in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves.

"I grew up watching MASH and Emergency on TV, and was fascinated by emergency medical services (EMS) and military medicine," says Clark. "After three years in active duty, I joined a reserve MASH unit here in Peoria and loved it."

Originally from the Peoria area, Clark is excited to continue expanding on his work in the GI specialty as a part of the Springfield Clinic community.

In his free time, Clark enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping and listening to music. He also guest lectures for his alma mater, SIU, and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
