Dr. Buerkett grew up 30 minutes north of Springfield in Petersburg, Ill. This was one of the factors in her choosing to join Springfield Clinic, so that she could move back home, as she enjoys spending free time with family and friends.

She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in Chesterfield, Mo.
